    The first charter of Virginia is issued is by King James I of England in 1606. Giving grants of land to investors which lead to the founding of Jamestown in Virginia in 1607 by John Smith.
    Southern Colonies founded from 1607 to 1732. Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia.
    New England Colonies Established from 1630 to 1638. Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, and New Hampshire
    Middle colonies were established in 1626 to`1682. New York, Delaware, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.
