Jacqueline Lee Bouvier was born of the parents Janet Norton Lee and John Vernou Bouvier III on July 28, 1929 in South Hampton, NY.

In 1935 Jackie was enrolled at Chapin School and then later enrolled at Miss Porters Finishing School when she was older.

- Jackie spent two years at Vassar College, a women’s college, on the Hudson River in NY. Her junior year she spent abroad at Sorbonne, a university in France. She then spent her senior year at George Washington College in Washington D.C. and graduated in 1951.

JFK supposedly proposed to Jackie when she was in London for business, but when he proposed is unsure. They were married on September 12, 1953 in St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Newport, RI.

On November 27, 1957 Jackie and Jack had their first daughter, Caroline Bouvier Kennedy.

On November 25, 1963, while in Dallas Texas, JFK was assonated in a presidential motorcade during a parade in the streets of Dallas.

After JFK’s assignation Jackie married Aristotle Onassis on October 20, 1968. Aristotle later died of myasthenia gravis, a disease of the muscles, on March 15, 1975.

Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis died of cancer on May 19, 1994, and is buried next to her first husband JFK in Arlington National Cemetery.
