Lowered tax on sugar. The colonist were angery with this act because now they had to actually pay the tax.

This act made it so colonist could not settle any land west of the Appalation Mountains. Colonist grew angery because they had bought that land and now they could not settle it.

With this act Parliment could tax the colonies no matter what the colonies said. The colonist wanted to be taxed by their colonial goverments not Parliment.

Imported goods were taxed under this act. The colonist at this point were just angery with any tax Parliment put on then and this act wasn't any different. By 1770 most of the Acts were reapealed.

This allowed East India to sell tea without having to go through merchants. Many colonial merchants got mad and started not letting the ships unload which lead to the Boston Tea Party.
