Tariff of 1828
It was labeled the Tariff of Abominations by the southern state cause of its effect on the south's economy. The south did not profit from it, atleast not like how the north would profit from the tariff. -

Cherokee Nation vs. Georgia
The Cherokees, instead of fighting back with a war, they filed a law suit against the state of Georgia, declaring that the laws passed were unconstitutional. However, the Supreme Court didn't take them seriously, and their efforts were useless. -
Internal Improvements-Maysville Road
Jackson didn't believe in Congress "wasting" money on such projects. The Maysville Road, on May 27, 1830, was vetoed by Jackson. It was a bill that would allow the Federal gov. to purchase stock in Maysville, Washington, ect. -
Indian Removal Act
Jackson thought moving the Indians would give the US more land, therefore resolving the Georgia crisis.The south strongly supported the act. -
The Trail of Tears
The Tail of Tears was the forced removal of the Indians East of the Mississippi R. Alot of the Indians traveling the trail died. The Choctaws were the first to be remove in 1831. Then the Cherokees were removed in 1837 -
Worcester vs. Georgia
Georgia passed laws that said they had the right to take away the Cherokee's right over their land. Worcester was arrested for his opposition to the Cherokee removal. -
Jackson's Attack on the Second Bank
Jackson vetoed the bill that extended the charter of the Second Back of the United States. He thought the bank was unconstitutional, even though the Supreme Court said that it was O.K. -
Nullification Crisis
S. Carolina's Ordinance of Nullification declared that the tariffs of 1828 and 1832 were unconsitutional, and that the states should have the right on whether or not to obey those tariffs -
Re-Election of 1832
Jackson won easily agianst Henry Clay. He had many of the "common man" supporters. He was officially president on March 4, 1833 -
Compromise of 1833
Henry Clay came up with a compromise to solve the tariffs. The compromise temporarily suppressed the hostile feelings of the south. -

The war was a series of coflicts made from various groups of Indians vs. the U.S.The war was the most expensive Indian war ever fought by the U.S.
