    The purpose of creating the Formation of the PLO was to make an independent State of Palestine. PLO was advised by the United States and Isreal to be a terrorist orginization until the Madrid Conference in 1991.
  • The Six Days War

    The six days war can be known as Third Arab-Israeli War. The war began from June 5th all the way through June 10th of 1967. On June 5th Israel launched a surprise bombing raid against Egyptian air-fields.
  • Munich Olympics

    The massacre occured in September 5th, 1972. There was an attack during the summer olympics in Munich and 11 members of the Israeli Olympic team were taken hostage and eventually killed, along with a German police officer. After the massacre began, they ordered the release of 234 prisoners held in Israeli jails, and the release of the founders of the German Red Army Faction, who were held in German prisons.
  • Yom Kippur War

    The Yom Kippur War was also known as the 1973 Arab–Israeli War. The war began when the Arab coalition launched a surprise attack on Israeli in the Israeli-occupied territories on Yom Kippur.
  • Camp David Accords

    The two framework agreements were signed at the White House, and were witnessed by United States President Jimmy Carter. The second of these frameworks led directly to the 1979 Egypt-Israel Peace Treaty.
  • 1st Intifada

    The First Palestinian Intifada was a Palestinian uprising against the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian Territories. It lasted from December 1987 until the Madrid Conference in 1991. The uprising began on December 9, in the Jabalia refugee camp after many actions and deaths of Palestinian and Israeli citizens

    Declaration of Principles was an attempt in 1993 to set up a framework that would lead to the resolution of the ongoing Israeli–Palestinian conflict. It was the first face-to-face agreement between the government of Israel and the Palestine Liberation Organization.
