Founding of Zionism
Zionism is the belief that the Jews have a land for there people in Palestine, which they call israel. Theodor Herzl founded the idea of Zionism, he argued that the only way to avoid European anti-semitism is by finding their own land and making their own state. -
Hussein-McMahon Agreement
The Hussein-McMahon Correspondence was when the British sent a series of letters to help them fight to Ottoman Empire, in return they would get there land back. -
Sykes-Picot
This agreement concluded of laying down the borders of the Middle East, it took five months to plan out the details, as soon as the Ottoman Empire is defeated it would be divided as they planned it. -
The Arab Revolt Against the Ottoman Empire
In 1916 the Alliance ( Britain, France, and Arab nationalists), fought against the Ottoman Empire and conquered all of Jordan, Arabian Penisula and some of southern Syria. -
Balfour Declaration
The British wanted to help out the Jews by finding them a homeland, the public statement issued by the government during WW1 stated that they will establish a national home for the Jews, which was in Palestine. -
Mass Jewish immigration
When Nazis took power in Germany it caused more Jews to migrate to Palestine, at least 154,300 Jews migrated in Palestine and kept rising. -
Jewish persecution and Holocaust
The Holocaust started in WW2 when Germany invaded Poland, they fought for a few years and finally in 1945 The Germans were exterminating Jews and The Jews had no choice but to leave. -
UN Partition plan
The UN Chose to give some parts of Palestinian land to the Jews and give SOME to the Palestinians, the Jews agreed because they got more land than the Palestinians, while the Arabs didn't because they knew it was another way to get rid of them. -
Arab-Israeli
Arab armies from Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, and Egypt all sent air strikes and tried to gain control of Palestine, but the Jewish forces managed to gain control again. And to punish the Arabs they exiled more than 750,000 of them. -
Six Day War
Jewish forces launch an attack on Jordan, Egypt, and Syria. Jews captured the Gaza Strip. After they did that they exiled another 500,000 Palestinians. -
First Intifada
Was when the Palestinians rose up against Jewish forces and attempted to reclaim some land, Jewish forces attempted to disperse them with tear gas but were shocked because of how courageous the Palestinians were with only rocks, while they had tanks and guns and were not as courageous as them. -
Oslo Peace Accord
Jewish leaders and PLO representative Mahmoud Abbas attempt to make peace in American meeting, but did nothing instead Jews built more settlements and conquered more land and built their giant wall. -
Second Intifada
The Palestinians attempted to uprise against the Jewish forces again, they threw riots and were shot down by Jewish Military. They used tear gas and fired 'rubber' bullets backed up by tanks and helicopters. Some Jewish forces died and were avenged with bombings. -
Assassination of the leader of Hamas
F-16 jets bombed a house of the commander of Hamas Sheikh Salah Shehadeh, it happened at night killed not only him 7 kids and 11 others and of course injuring 120 others. -
Israel begins building Giant wall
Jews started building giant walls around West Bank to keep out all Palestinians it costs 220 million dollars, and Jews claim its to prevent Suicide Bombings and terrorists were in reality its to make Palestinians life harder and try to get rid of them. -
Bombing Gaza
Jewish forces spent week bombing buildings in Gaza and exploding buried mines, to take control of some areas. But Hamas fired back 15 rockets. -
US embassy
