Although MacBook laptop computers had been out for 2 years prior, MacBook Air gained popularity for becoming the pioneer in a new category for laptops: Ultrabook. It has had many upgrades since and continues to stay relevant through its uses.

2010- iPad (Steve Jobs, Johnny Ive, Scott Forstall)
Introduced in Spring 2010, and named after StarTrek PADD, the 1st gen iPad was widely considered a larger variation of the iPhone. Starting off with a WiFi only model, Apple released a Wi-Fi + 3G a few weeks later. Surprisingly, Jobs revealed in 2010 that the iPad had been developed before the iPhone but the production was shelved to continue working on other projects. The iPad remains relevant in many fields but has gained popularity in the arts, digital media, and marketing.
