    KV-4P1
    The KV-4P1 is a small TV developed to be built in executive desks or in cars. The bold, square appearance of the "ESSEN" is underlined by a rod antenna stored in a slit along the side of the case. Made of aluminum, in a shade of silver resembling champagne gold. The set can be adjusted to the best viewing angle by lifting the screen up from the base.

    On July 23, 1996, WRAL-TV which was the CBS affiliate in Raleigh, North Carolina became the first television station in the United States to broadcast a digital television signal. HDTV sets became available in the U.S. in 1998 and broadcasts began around November 1998.
