ARPANET was ccreated

ARPANET means advanced research project agency network. ARPANET was computers connected, which these computers were at UCLA, Standford, UCSB, and Univ. of Utah.

Arpanet goes international

Arpantet goes international in this year. By the end of 1973 there were 37 sites. It also went all the way to England and Norway.

Apple computer

The apple computer was created by three men and there names were Ron Wayne, Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak. Or they were also called apple 1 computers. This basically was a smaller version of the bigger computers.

The domain server was introduced in this year. Which means you can type in Facebook instead of 10.160.2.4.

NSFNET takes over

NSFNET stands for national science foundation network. Which is was basically the same as ARPANET. Except, it took over ARPANET because it was turned off. NSFNET was made my U of I.

Mosaic was created by graduate student at the U of I. Mosaic has the first point and click browser. Mosaic was a web browser.

Twitter is kind of like facebook except, when you "tweet" you have a minium of 140 characters. When twitter was first released it actually failed but then it started up again.
