    The shuttle for textile machines had a huge impact because it saved workers from weaving yarn back and forth. the shuttle would, very quickly, carry the yarn in and out of the other yarn as the weaver would pull back the handle. This saved hours of tedious work.

    Watt was concerned with the problem of burning too much fuel in the current engines. He decided to join up with an entrepreneur named Boulten. he made the engine so that it burned less fuel and ran on steam. This lead to the invention of many other machines.

Most importantly, Germany built railroads which could transport goods from one side of the country to the other. this is why they dominated so well.
