Agricultural Revolution
Better farming technology meant more food produced per area of land with less labor. With the agricultural revolution also came better farming technics requiring less people to farm the same amount of land, with this people could farm more land in less time. With this revolution their was enough food to feed more people and this is the start of the major increase in population. -
Steam Engine
In 1712 the steam engine was created. The steam engine was one of the greatest inventions that allowed us to come up with transportation. With the steam engine came many new things such as cotton clothing. Latter on the steam engine will be the main source of the industrial revolution. -
Hygiene
When bacteria was started to be taken seriously and had became a serious topic. People where told that when not clean they were actually harboring bacteria and viruses so they wanted to be clean and so the spread of unnecessary disease was avoided. -
Industrial Revolution
With the creation of the steam engine rich people in England started creating factories and started to mass produce products such and cotton. With this people came to England because of the need for jobs rapidly increasing because of all the factories England's population rapidly increased. -
Vaccine
The vaccine was created in 1796 and stopped avoidable diseases such as small pocks and because of this people did not die so often and people life spans where become longer and longer. The vaccine was probably the most important way of getting ride of diseases for its time. -
Air Conditioning
Air conditioning, created 1902 allowed us to live in hotter places and cool our dwellings. At the time this was very ineffective and could only change a couple decrease but shortly after the air conditioner became better an better and opened the door to large-scale comfort air conditioners. -
Antibiotics
Created in 1928, antibiotics took care of almost every common cold and where the started with illnesses. ( you had a cough antibiotics, you had a fever antibiotics), anything unless already diagnosed, was given antibiotics. Also causing less unnecessary deaths. -
Global Trade
With global trade people could have access to foods that couldn’t be grown people would also sell countries seeds for farming, oil for energy or transportation, medication and weapons for war. Global trade allowed everybody to have access to everything increasing the population once again.
