According to Schwab, (n.d.) the UN called on "relevant entities involved in the realization of mega sporting events to respect applicable laws and international principles, including the (UNGP) 'Protect, Respect and Remedy' Framework". -
Investigation about deaths
Amnesty International accused Qatar of not investigating the deaths of its workers, which according to the Guardian numbered 6,500 deaths in the construction of the stadiums (Moñino, 2022). -
Distances and rights
According to Moñino (2022), the eight stadiums are 50 km apart. Public displays of same-gender love are penalized. You cannot have sex without being married. Natives treat foreigners badly.
