The United Nations committee let out a statement that by 2020 the Arctic Ocean will not have any ice. this would not only hurt the ecosystem but it would also be like increasing our emissions by 25%. It would do this because the ice reflects the sunlight back into space instead of absorbing it like it like the earth will do when the ice is gone.

The sea level has risen 8 inches since 1880. However NASA expects that the sea level will rise 1 to 4 feet by 2100. This will happen because of storm surges and high tide in the up coming decades.
