- About two thousand men marched to the centre of Munich, where they confronted the police, which resulted in the death of 16 Nazis and four policemen. Hitler himself was wounded.

-His arrest was followed by a 24-day trial, which was widely publicized and gave Hitler a platform to publicize his nationalist sentiment to the nation. Hitler was found guilty of treason and sentenced to five years in Landsberg Prison.

Eliminate political rivals to e head of Nazis. Rising popularity of Nazis forces Hindenburg to give him some power. Hindenburg came up with a plan to get the Nazis on their side by offering to make Hitler vice chancellor. He refused and demanded to be made Chancellor.

The Holocaust was a horrible disaster that happened in Germany, that lasted from 1933 till 1945. The main person that lead the Holocaust was Adolf Hitler. His group of Nazis killed about 11 million people, throughout the 12 years that the Holocaust was in play.

Hitler blames Communists for fire. Hitler didn't have any evidence on if the Communists really did it. Everyone later believed that the Communists set the fire and are bad people for doing it. The Communists really didn't do it. Hitler hired employees to torch the Reichstag.

On April 1, 1933, the Nazis carried out the first nationwide, planned action against them: a boycott of Jewish businesses. Nazi spokesmen claimed the boycott was an act of revenge against both German Jews and foreigners, including US and English journalists, who had criticized the Nazi regime.

Nazis needed a way to identify Jews so they could discriminate them. Nuremberg Laws defined people with 3 or 4 Jewish Grandparents as "Jewish" and 1 or 2 as "Mixed Blood." (Allowing them to figure out who was a Jew)

On Nov. 9th to Nov. 10th, Nazis blew up a bunch of Jewish homes, business, and schools in Germany. The destruction left nothing left, and killed about 100 Jews.

Soviet soldiers were the first to liberate concentration camp prisoners in the final stages of the war.
