Sam Merrill opens Horizon Middle School as the first principal. The school was the 2nd middle school operating in Falcon School District 49, serving 6th-9th Gr. -

Richens Smith was principal for 8 years. -

Jay Hahn became principal in 2000 and was the leader at HMS until 2003 (3 years). -
