    The Triple Alliance is Formed
    The Triple Alliance was formed between Austria- Hungary, Italy, and Germany. This was formed in the circumstances that one of the countries will need support if they were to engage in war. It was specifically meant for the chance of either country being attacked by Britain or France. This Alliance would go on to become a very dangerous and powerful coalition that will transpire to become a power and evil the world has never seen, the Nazi Party.

    The Alliance was the begining of the Triple Entete, because Franc and Britain were already allies, and with the new coming of Russia, a third party had joined. This treaty was to aboslve all differences and become a striclty military alliance. This alliance would last for well over decade when it was finally dissolved in 1917

    This was a crisis that was about the international status of Morrocco and were its loyalty was to which country. It started when Germany became jealous and annoyed of the France influence in Morocco that they would try and make them do a open-door policy so that they can become apart of the Moroccan market. Wilhelm II, the emperor of Germany, demanded much out of France and certain request that were eventually never met, thus causeing friction between the two countries

    In order to strengthen its power in the Baltic region of Europe, Austria annexed Bosnia and Herzegovina. The reason for the seizing of these two countries was influenced when Austria and Herzegovina decided to leave the Ottoman empire. The leaving of the empire gave them an incredibly venerable shine to all the attacking nations because now they have no one to protect them.     Archduke Franz Ferdinand is Assassinated in Sarajevo
    Franz Assassination
    He was in a convertible top car paying his presence to the town of Sarajevo (After Austria had successfully taken control of this region of Europe) when the first attempt was made on his life by a member of the Black Hand group. His body guard was injured, while at the hospital visiting his hurt guard, a man by the name of Gavrilo Princip, shot him and his wife.

    The assassination of Franz Ferdinand, caused for immediate mobilization of the Belgium army by the orders of King Albert. They were completely out numbered, but with a spawn of confidence by Albert, he sent them to the borders to resist the German Army. Germany beleaguered them within a few days. King Albert was forced to flee to France.

    After the assassination of the arch-duke Franz Ferdinand, Austria- Hungary declared war on Serbia. This was the beginning of the First World War. The assassination prompted Austria-Hungary to mobilize its troops immediately. They knew what had happened was a act against the country, and their only option was to engage and seize Serbia.

    A british liner by the name of the Luistina left port from New York and was headed toward Liverpool, England. It harbored 1,959 people, 159 of whom were Americans. On the voyage to Liverpool, the british liner had been given instructions to caution the ocean due to the German U-boats that stalk the waters. Late at night, a massive explosion erupted from the starboard of the boat. I began to sink immediately, and 1,198 of the 1,959 died. This attack very much help influence the United States in

    The First Battle of the Somme Begins
    This battle took place in the Somme department of France on the river banks. It consisted of the armies of both British and France against the German army. Being that this was recorded as one of the longest battles in history, lasting several months, the casualties were so high that it has gone down as one of the bloodiest battles of the 19th century.

    Zimmermann Telegram was a letter meant for Mexico, which stated that if Mexico helped Germany in attacking the United States, they would receive a grand mass of land of the united states. Unfortunately for Germany, this letter was intercepted by the British before it reached Mexico. This was the last straw for the Americans, and is seen as the key reason for the declaration of war on Germany by the United States.
