Germany and France were clashing over Morocoo, again. France started expanding the control over the region, so Germany sent a gunboat, the Panter. Britain sided with France, and Germany was forced to back down.

Russia and Austria clashed over the Balkans again. The Balkan Wars saw Serbia- a close friend of Russia- emerge as the most powerful country in the Balkans. Austria was determind to crush Serbia.

During WWI Irish nationalist staged a major rebellion in Dublin. The British put down the rebellion, but the harsh punishments fueled the desire of independance, which was achieved in 1921.
