At the end of WWl Farmers were growing more crops so that we not only would have them for the people here but we also grew a lot of crops for counties over seas so that we could help them get back on their feet.

At the start of the great depression women had to go back to being house wives and taking care of childern. They didn't have the right to vote and their main job in life was to have kids and take care of them as well as do the cooking and cleaning.

The dust bowl was after the mass production of crops after WWl. The dust bowl occured beasue the soil dried out from being used over and over again and got to the point where all the nutrience was sucked out of the soil

The relief camps were created mostly for young single men as a place where they could go for housing, small wages and food in return for work.

The On-To-Ottawa Trek was an event where men from the relief camps were unhappy with their low wages and wanted higher wages and better medical care. So the workers left the camps and travled on trains trying to go to Ottawa to speek to the Primeminister, but he didn't want that and made the trains stop in Vancover. He agreed to meet with the man in charge of the On-To-Ottawa Trek in Ottawa. At the meeting they both shoutted at each other until the man in charge of the trek was esscorted out.
