    A republican, Abraham Lincoln, becomes president. He was a great leader. He was the president during the time of the Civil War. He was the one who created the famous document of the emancipation P roclaimation which allowed African Americans to become soldiers and fight in the war on the North's side.

    Andrew Johnson
    A democrat, Andrew Johnson, became president after the assasination of Abraham Lincoln. He was originally Abraham Lincoln's Vice President.

    A republican, Ulysses S. Grant, becomes president after the term of Andrew Johnsons' presidency. He was a leader of the civil war.

    Rutherford B. Hayes
    A republican, Rutherford B. Hayes, becomes president after the reign of Ulyses S. Grant. Some of his accomplishments included coming up with a different way to protect Civil Rights without using weapons or violence. He was a rather peaceful man.

    A republican, James A. Garfield became president after Rutherford B. Hayes' power over the country came to an end. But James A. Garfields' power came to an end rather quickly too. He was assasinated.

    A republican, Chester A. Arthur became president sooner than expected to after the former president James A. Garfield was assasinated. Some of his accomplishments included being apart of the Chinese Exclusion Act (1882).

    A Democrat, Grover Cleveland, became president after Chester A. Arthur's presidency ended.

    A Republican, Benjamin Harrison, became president after Grover Cleveland. Many people had different opinions about him after the McKinley Tariff of 1890.

    The already well known Democrat, Grover Cleveland, became president again after Benjamin Harrison. Some of his accomplishments included having a big part in the Foriegn policy of 1893 to 1897. He ran for two terms as president but Benjamin Harrison was the president in between his two terms.

    A republican, William Mckinley became president after Grover Cleveland's second presidency. William Mckinley also was allowed a second term but soon fter it begun he was assasinated.

    A republican, Theodore Roosevelt becme president. Many people admired him because of his bravery. Some of his accomplishments included being a "trust buster" which meant that fully supported railway expansion and construction. Another great characteristic of this man is that he made sure he represented the people of the USA to the best of his ability.

    A republican, William Howard Taft, became president after the long time president Theodore Roosevelt declined to be reelected. Coming from the small city Cincinatti, Ohio, Taft officially became president after many people voted for him. Some of his accomplishments include being a part of the Surpreme Court Justice

    Formerly a General of the United Stated Armd Forces, Woodrow Wilson, a democrat from Staunton, Virginia took the spot as the 33rd president of the United States.
    His accomplishments included becoming a leader and fighting in World War I.
