The oldest record of printed text is originated from China. This text is within a Buddhist book from Dunhuang, China, titled "The Diamond Sutra". This printed book is said to have been written during the Tang Dynasty and created with the block printing method. This method would be conducted by using panels of hand-carved wood blocks in reverse for one-time-use.
