    August first 2003 the app Myspace was founded by Tom Anderson, Chris DeWolfe and Jon Hart and was purchased by News Corp in 2005. Myspace is a social networking website offering an interactive, user-submitted network of friends, personal profiles, blogs, groups, photos, music, and videos. It was the top social network between the years 2004 and 2010.

    Facebook is an American social networking service on which you can post pictures or updates of your life. It was launched on February 4, 2004, founded by Mark Zuckerberg with his college roommate and fellow Harvard University student Eduardo Saverin.

    Twitter
    Twitter was created in March 2006 by Jack Dorsey, Noah Glass, Biz Stone, and Evan Williams and launched in July of that year. Twitter is an online news and social networking service on which users post and interact with messages known as "tweets".

    October 6th 2010 Istagram was launched by Kevin Systom and Mike Krieger. Instagram is a photo and video-sharing social networking service which is owned by Facebook.

    Snapchat
    Snapchat, a multimedia messaging app which only shows the picture or chat sent once before deleting it unless you save it or screenshoot it. It was launched in september 2011 by Evan Spiegel, Bobby Murphy and Reggie Brown who were students at Stanford university at the time. Though it was originally launched under the name Piccaboo in July of the same year.
