    The EOS-650 was released in March 1987. The Canon Company was created by the four founders, Takeshi Mitarai, Takeo Maeda, Saburo Uchida, Goro Yoshida. The Canon headquarters are located in Tokoyo, Japan.This camera was ahead of its time and was released with the Electro-Focus (EF) Lens Mount. The lens allowed for larger pictures and faster focusing. Canon lenses used to be bulky and big but now they are slimmer.

The new camera had a price tag of 12,000 euro, the EOS DCS 3 opened a new chapter in the EOS story by giving people the ability to produce images straight out of the camera. Also known as the first Polaroid. The camera was developed in a partnership with Kodak whick made all the lenses compatible.

The previous camera hax zoom of 3x while the Mark 2 can zoom up to 10x. the new LCD monitor has more than double the amount of pixels compared to the old monitor. Also included is tthe new 5 level contrast control.

The camera set new standards for professional photographic equipment and it blew away all other competitors. Final advancements include wider monitors, and better picture resolution.
