This was helpful and harmful to household management. Helpful in the fact they could now buy what they needed but harmful in the fact that a lot of families ended up with credit card debt.

It has allowed families to stay in touch, especially when they live in different states. Negative effects include an increase of cyber bullying. A small effect on household management is that more time is spent on Facebook than on maintaining household chores/duties.

    As one who has a kindle, I can say this did impact the household management style in homes. Many individuals spent more time reading than doing the part in maintaining the home, this resulted in other's having to do twice the housework in order to keep the home maintained.

    iPhones are another tool used by young individuals. It's a tool used to keep track of your family members and to keep track of who's doing what. It can act as one's schedule and planner to keep order of what the members of the household are doing and where they need to be at a certain time.

    The iPad allows a new way of learning for young children and adults. It has a unique affect on household management. When one is cooking dinner and doesn't know how to do something required the iPad is a way to look up and learn. That's just one of many ways an iPad can be beneficial to families and management.
