Launch of Facesmash

On the 28th of October, 2003, Mark Zuckerberg (who was in his second year of Harvard) launched "facesmash", a website intended to allow Harvard students to rate others as "hot or not". Facesmash has been considered Facebook's predecessor and allowed Zuckerberg to generate the idea for Facebook.
