    Birth of the Sun

Sun was formed when a star exploded nearby causing a shock wave. The ripple collapsed the gas, forming the Sun and the protoplanetary disk
  • 4500 BCE

    Primary Accretion Stage

100,000 to10million years - dust collides into each other creating planetesimals.
  • 4400 BCE

    Giant Impact Stage

10million to 100million years - the planetesimals collide against each other creating the planets we know now like Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. In between around 60million years, we believe that moon was formed
  • 4300 BCE

    Late Accretion Stage

100million to 600million years - Pluto like objects crashes into the Earth and other planets which deposits metal
  • 4200 BCE

    Late Heavy Bombardment

600million to 800million was when Jupiter and Saturn migrated their way towards the inner planet which helped clear out the rocks. Eventually, they migrated back out.

    Earth Cools and Features Form

Roughly 1.6billion years the heat inside our Earth tried to escape causing the core to heat up more. This caused the tectonic plates to move around.
