Seagate ST506 hard disc drive (Seagate Technology/Shugart Technology)
This was the first disc drive for microcomputers and it held up to 5 megabytes of data(5x more than a floppy disc). It fits into the spot of a floppy disc and was a huge success selling 4 million years within the first few years. I can't find an exact release date for this but it was in late 1981 so I am putting on a random date because it is required.
