This Cray-1 Supercomputer was the fastest computer of its time due to its "C" shape. Each Cray-1 took 1 year to assemble, and costed 10 million dollars. It was normally used for US national defense work, such as the design and simulation of nuclear weapons and weather forecasting. -

Lisa was the first commerical personal use computer. It featured a graphic user interface, that was soon adopted by Apple and Windows. Lisa was inspired by the earlier work at the Xerox Palo Alto Center. -
