Declaration of Independence
On July 2nd, the Deceleration of Independence war created by the founding fathers. They wrote what they thought would ensure the best future for America. This gave power to the people, not the just the government. On July 4th, it was formally approved by congress. -
Texas Revolution
The Texas Revolution started when Mexico allowed settlers into Texas, but were soon overrun. The Mexican government put in changes the settlers didn't like, so they revolted. The Texans won and for a short while became their own county. -
The Donner Party
The Donner Party took an alternative path on the Oregon trail, but got stranded in a snowstorm after their wagon broke. As starvation set in, they resorted to eating the dead. About half of the original party survived to California. -
The California Gold Rush
The finding of gold in California caused a gold rush of mega proportions. Prices in California rose as the population did too. -
Pearl Harbor
Out of nowhere, Japanese attack fighters bombed and rained fire upon Pearl Harbor, USA. They did this in hopes of delaying the Americans from getting involved in their pacific conquest. They declared war on each other, and then German declared war on the USA. -
Moon Landing
On July 16th, 1969, man first set foot on the moon. This mission included Michael Collins, Buzz Aldrin, and Neil Armstrong. This helped NASA and the science community learn more about how the Earth was made. -
9/11/2001
On September 11th, 2001, terrorists from the middle east hijacked 4 planes. The first two flew into the world trade center. One of the other two crashed into the pentagon. The last one crashed in a field in PA, some speculate it was aimed for the white house or the capital building. -
My birthday
I was born in Pennsylvania. -
Chip Kelly Fired
The Philadelphia Eagles fired head coach Chip Kelly in December of 2015. Due to lack of coaching skill, he was fired after only a few years with the Eagles. He is now coaching collage football. -
Concert
On the 18th of November, I will be going to concert in Philadelphia. The band that I will be going to see just released their first album in 13 years, which is nuts. Some people questioned if it would ever see the light of day. It also is right after my birthday, November 16th.
