The Lewis and Clark Journey West
Lewis and Clark were the two man that were picked by President Thomas Jefferson to go study the land of Louisiana. These two man were generals in the US army. The original first person to get picked was Lewis. Lewis was not going by himself so he asked his friend Clark. Not only did they have have to find the river, the two man went on a journey to meet with other Native American tribes, discover new species, draw a very accurate map, describe the features of the land, and to come back alive. -

The Donner Party was a group of families that set off overland for California but they were trapped in the Sierra Nevada Mountains by the terrible winter about half of them died, and some of the survivors resorted to cannibalism to stay alive. -

This event is important because Elvis was a famouse singer. He was killed by either cardiac arrhythmia, an irregular heartbeat, possibly brought on by drug dependency, obesity and or a weak heart. -
