    Founding of Hezbollah
    Hezbollah is founded in Lebanon by a group of Shi'ite Clergymen trained in Iran, in response to the 1982 invasion by Israel. Israel had invaded to remove the Palestinian Liberation Organization from its camps in Southern Lebanon, but other groups, like Hezbollah, joined together to fight against Israel.

    On the afternoon of April 13, 1983, a bomb packed with 2000 pounds of explosives went off beneath the the portico of the US Embassy building. The Islamic Jihadist Organization claimed responsibility; however, a UN court later declared the attack to be planned and sponsored by Hezbollah, which is suspected to control the IJO.

    U.S. and French Barracks Bombings
    In "response" to shelling of anti-government forces in the base of Hezbollah's activities during the Lebanese Civil war and Israeli occupation, the Bekaa valley, 2 vans each loaded with the equivalent of 12,000 pounds of TNT were driven into the barracks of American Marines and French paratroopers in Beirut, stationed as peacekeepers. the IJO claimed responsibility, but Hezbollah was blamed as it controls the IJO.

    TWA FLight 847 Hijacking
    Shortly after takeoff, flight TWA 847 from Rome to Greece was hijacked by Hezbollah and IJO operatives and a several week ordeal occured with hostages being released in exchange for fuel and demands being met. The remaining hostages were delivered to Beirut and eventually released, and only a few of the Hijackers were ever discovered. America adds Hezbollah to its list of terrorist organizations.

    Bombing of Israeli Embassy in Argentina
    In the afternoon of March 17, 1992, a suicide bomber driving a truck loaded with explosives drove into the Israeli embassy and the truck, killing 29 and wounding 242 civilians. The IJO claimed responsibility, but US, Israeli, and Argentine investigations revealed that Iran knew of the attack before it happened, and a Hezbollah operative from the triple frontier area was directly involved in the planning of the attack.
