Help that Katniss received from other people

  • Peeta gave her bread.

    He cared for her because she gives them food. He also didn't want her and her family to starve that night.

  • When Peeta's dad told her he would make sure her family had enough to eat

    When his dad told her that I knew that he wanted to be helpful because she might kill his son or his son might kill her. He also knew that if she came home she would still give him the game he wanted that she hunts for.

  • Cinna lite them on fire for their entrance at the opening cerimonies.

    Cinna wanted them to start off with a bang. You could tell because she didn't get assigned to her district but she wanted that district, so she could help Katniss's district by how they looked.

  • When Haymitch told Peeta and her to do what they are not good at while they are at the open training session.

    He was looking out for them by telling them not to show their strength to early and only to the judges. He told them let the other people think you are good at that stuff, and show your best skill to the judges in the private session.

  • Haymitch sent her cream for her burns.

    I know that the person wanted to help her because they didn't want her to have to feel the pain the burn was giving her. Who ever bought the cream really wanted her to win the whole thing.

  • Rue tells her that there is a jackertracker nest above her in the tree.

    Rue wanted her tto know that, because she didn't want her to get stung and knew that the careers were below her. She also wanted her to know that becaus Katniss could cut it down and kill the careers.

  • When Peeta let her go when Cato was coming.

    Peeta knew she had a chance to win. He would rather have died then let Katniss die, because he didn't have as good of a chance at winning.

  • Haymitch sends her medicine for Peeta's leg.

    After they announce that if both of the finialist were from the same district they would both win. Haymitch knew if Peeta got healthy they would have the best chance at winning.

  • Thresh letting her go.

    Thresh knew that her and Rue were working together and that Rue had died. When he was holding her he asked if she killed the guy who killed Rue. She said yes, so he felt like he had to pay her back.

  • Haymitch sent them food so they wouldn't starve.

    They ran out of food because of the raining that was going on. Both Katniss and Peeta were blanking out and needed food. Haymitch knew that there was only 4 or 5 people left counting them, and if both of them made it all the way they would win.
