Film noir has crime and thriller elements to it and one of its key conventions is the low key lighting.

His character brought countless characteristics that we see in modern action films today, mostly his charming personality and the ability to charm the notorious bond girls.

The Character of a father is not commonly used in the action genre but it creates another side to a mindless killing machine, and the audience relate to him and empathise with him.
