Fathers Death
Before he turned 10 his father was killed by an enemy clan with poison, Temujin's clan then kick him along with his family out to not have to feed them. Then Temujin killed his older brother to gain the status of being head of the family. this shows his power hungry and murderous intentions from an early age, which is probably why he was able to take control of more than half of the world. Captured
Some time in his childhood Temujin was captured by a river taichi’ut clan. With his collar still attached he crack the skull of a guard with a wooden club and successfully flea. this shows more of his brutality and skill at combat. (The Mongol Conquest P.11) -

Borte Ujin
Borte was Temujin's first wife. with her, he would have four sons and a not counted number of daughters. After he was kidnaped he even went after to save her. A samurai leader named Minamoto Yoritomo became a military dictator after dominating Japan. he gave himself the title of Shogun after the type of government he made Shogunate or tent government. The Conversion of Hindus into Muslims
After the Muslim conquering of India, they started to destroy temples and replace them with mosques, forcing Hindus to convert. This is significant for a couple of reasons. First, it made the Islamic religion expand and spread. second, it set up for the British partitioning of India and Pakistan creating tension between the countries. War with Other Clans
The Tartars were a huge clan of thousands that Temujin had run in in the past with. in order to crush them, he devised new tactics and rules for his clan to follow like only looting after the rade and getting an equal share in the bounty. To stop any further rowdiness from the clan he killed their leader and any man that came above the axle on a cart and had the remaining people assimilate into his clan.

Fourth Crusade
Called in by Pope Innocent III, it was about taking the religious city of Jerusalem from the Muslims. The plan fell through due to budgeting issues so instead, they took the city of Constanipole. Battle with Jamuka
In order to complete the unification of the Mongols Temujin needed to defeat the other most powerful Mongol Jamuka. With his new military systems and a large army, Temujin managed to widdle down enemy forces and kill Jamuka making him the ruler of all the Mongols. The first empire that Genghis Khan conquered after ruling Mongolia was the Tangut. Unlike the Mongols, they had cities with fortified wall to protect them. Children's Crusade
10,000 German children plus 20,000 French children lead by a boy named Stephen did not like the pope's lake of action in the holy land so they took it upon themselves to capture it. After expecting the sea to part for them like Moses, they were offered free passage on boats. The sailors on those boats then captured them and sold them in the Muslim slave trade. Khwarazmian Conquered
The Khwarazmian were the most intelligent people of their time. They were a perfect target for the Mongols that didn't know many crafts themselves. They left one chose to the people either resist and die or join the Mongols. They dominated in the war and took the knowledge of the people to help in their conquest of other nations. Genghis Khan died by an unknown method. this is significant because it means that his sons would have to spit the empire. this divided the empire since his 2 eldest sons were in a fight since the younger son got the title of the next Khan. the Mongols still concerned after his death but the empire would never be as big.
