    Beginning in 1917, President Wilson (a convert to the suffrage cause) urged Congress to pass a voting rights amendment. Another crowning achievement also occurred that year when Montana’s Jeannette Rankin (elected two years after her state enfranchised women) was sworn into the 65th Congress on April 2, as the first woman to serve in the national legislature. The 19th Amendment to the constitution was passed in 1920, granting women the right to vote.

And of course one needs to be educated to be able to read the tag line and understanding it."

Men were the ones supposed to be going out and working to take care of the family financially.Women on the other hand,were supposed to be at home cooking and cleaning to ensure the family's happiness."This is how society portraits women,at home taking care of the house.They are expected to maintain good care of the home and of themselves...as a whole,women are expected to be clean and serve others"

    Edge Shaving Gel used a woman on their advertisement in order to attract men's attention. They used a woman in a bikini with unrealistic appearance to have men buy the product in order to "buy the product" to attract women. Due to sexiest advertisement like these, men now have higher standards for their women and expect more women like this model to acknowledge them. Men are more bound to notice these types of advertisements if a "sexy" women is advertising the product.

    This ad was released by a franchise of Gold's Gym in Egypt. This ad is very similar to the one released in 1967 by Warner's (the bra.) It shows that advertisement has not really changed that significantly. Because of this ad, Gold's Gym made plans to terminate its contract with the franchise. Effective Jan. 2, 2016, women will be allowed to serve in any job in the armed services, provided they meet gender neutral performance standards.
