    This was the first two battles with army force behind them. This ultimately began the Revolutionary War.
  • The Declaration of Independence is Signed

    The Declaration of Independence is Signed
    Congress sign the Declaration of Independence which means this was them seperating themselves from Britain. It was the fundamental ideas that our nation and what our country is based upon. Liberty, freedom, and our rights.

    The colonial army spent the winter of 1777-1778 at Valley Forge. The French sent people over to train our troops and they come out a lot stronger.

    George Washington's army along with the french defeat the British army thus causing the British to surrender. This ended the American Revolutionary War.

    Ratifying something is approving of something. So the ratification was a huge thing it meant that the supreme law had finally come to were everyone agreed on them and had to be abided by.
