    George Wallace was the governor of alabama at the time when segregation was still around. Most of the schools at that point was allowing anyone to go to school and get a good education, but George Wallace didn't want that. He tried to block 4 black kids from entering schools, the president had to sen the national gaurd just to let the kids in.

    JFK was in the motorcade and he was shot from a unknown assailant at the time. He was taken from Texas without approval to Washington for a biopsy. Lee Harvey Oswald was then accused of murdering the president. Later Oswald was killed coming out of the the Texas police center.

    The Watergate scandal happened when Nixon was in office. The scandal was in the tapes because Nixon recorded everyone in his office. when the investigation was going on they ordered the tapes and got them. Nixon then took 18minutes and never gave to the investigation. Instead of helping resolve this issue he just resigned to save himself.

We lost over 58,000 americans in this war. The U.S. was so against communism that we were going after countries that we thought were close to falling underneath communism.

    The AIDS virus was scary back then people were dying and no one knew why and the doctors couldn't help them. At first people thought that it was only happening with gay men but that change when straight people got the disease too. People were have rumors and nobody truly knew how or why that AIDS was so bad but after some education they knew how it was transmitted and how to greatly reduce the risk by protection.
