Great Plains

-Oil,cattle,natural gas,farming,and tall grass
Central Plains
-HOT
-Plains,deserts,marshes,good soil,tall grass,and small bodies of water
-Oil,aluminum,limestone,mills,cattle,and farming
Mountains and Basins
-HOT

Coastal Plains
-HOT and RAINY
-Peninsulas,plains,grasslands,and bodies of water

The Comanche
They lived in the very hot and dry desert.They didn't have any horses until around 1680.They had to walk when they hunted.The men hunted and the women gathered plants and other foods.They made and used baskets and leather containers.They used animal skins and woven grass mats for the floors of their tepees. -
The Karankawa
During the summer they move inland because the fish moved back to the deep and the oysters and clams weren't safe to eat in hot water.There were also many berries,edible plants,and roots.There were also deer,rabbits,turtles,turkeys,and other animals.They lived in a very hot and humid climate.They always had warm weather.They always had to walk from place to place.They had lots of water,plants,and animals. -
The Jumanos
They lived way before when Texas was much cooler and wetter.Before 1492 the land became the deserts of west Texas.It was very hot and humid.They traveled mostly by boat,down the canals.They grew plenty of plants.They had water,pottery,cotton,and other plants. -
Caddo
They had a good amount of rainfall.It would rain often.The climate was good for farming.They had no horses so they had to walk.They had plenty of water,plants,and fish.They had many trees.They used the bois de arc for weapons.
