    Prince Henry (Henrique) the Navigator was a protegese soldier, Royal prince and a patron for exploerers. He never went on any of the expiditions but funded a lot of them. He sent sailors to cpae blanc in 1441, cap vert in 1455, and caoe palmas in 1450-1460.

    Juan Ponce de Leon was a spanish exploerer and soldierwho set foot on flordia first. He astablished the oldest european settlement in puerto rico. He came to the americas on columbus second voyage (1493). He didn't return to spain but stayed at santo domingo and searched for treasure like the foutain of youth.
