In 200 B.C the first astrolabe was invented. The inventor was Hipparchus. This invention was helpful in the future after small tweaks of the device.

After getting permission from the monarchs of Spain, Christopher Coulumbus made his first voyage towards the West. He hit the West Indies however he thought them to be the Esat Indies.

On September 24th 1493 Christopher Columbus set out on his second voyage to the new world. He was going back to explore more of it, and to try and go futher.

On June 7th 1494 the Treaty was signed. It stated that Spain had the everything to the West and Spain had everything to the East.

In June of 1497 Da Gama reached India. He rounded the cape of good hope and anchored in Malindi.

In 1498 Christopher Columbus set out on his third voyage. He needed even more time in the new world to explore. His second voyage didn't prove to be as helpful as he planned it out to be.

On April 22 the explorer Pedro Alvarez reached Brazil. That is his most famous accomplishment.

In 1519 Hernan Cortez reached Mexico. His fleet consisted of 11 ships, they were all looking to expand thei empire by finding more land.

In 1522 Magellan's crew finally made it around the world. Sadly they had to leave him in the Philippines after he died at the hands of a native in the area.

On September 3rd 1609 Henry Hudson sailed up the Hudson river. Strong headwinds forced them to cancel their Northeast voyage they were asigned.
