    Xerox PARC Alto is introduced
    It used windows, icons, and a mouse. It could also share files and print out documents on an advanced Xerox laser printer. This computer was produced in Silicone Valley. It's system had a large impact on Apple's engineers, they used the concepts to introduce the Apple Lisa and Macintosh systems, sparking the GUI revolution that took place during the 1980's. It was the first model of its kind paving the way for the furture of the PC. Link text

    It was the first PC to gain widespread adoption by industry. It was created by a team of engineers and designers under the direction of Don Estridge of the IBM Entry Systems Division in Boca Raton, Florida. The IBM was the inspiration for the almost all the next PC's in the years to come. It was created for personal use, but ended up to be mostly used as a learning tool for future technolgy.     The camera had a maximum resolution of 0.11 megapixels a 256-color display. This innovated the technology world because it allowed your phone and your camera to be one. You no longer needed to carry around your cannon and a cell phone. The phone was only avaible in Japan, and it was made in Japan. This had a huge impact on the world of technology becuase if you look at every piece of technology today it will have a camera in it. Link text
