  • Model-K Adder developed

    Model-K Adder developed
Supposedly developed on a Bell Labratories employee's kitchen table, the Model-K was a simple demonstration of the idea that boolean logic could be added to computers sometime in the future. This model was rather large for a boolean logic adapter, but, it worked. Boolean logic is a simple idea of a combonation of two inputs, resulting in a true or false output. This idea eventually became part of computers, especially in coding. Unfortunately, this idea won't be implemented until much later.
  • Relay Interpolator

    Relay Interpolator
Created by Bell labratories, the relay interpolator was designed for military use. Used as a primitive targeting system for some of the militaries largest guns. This idea was paired up with the M-9, the militaries own targeting system, so that the accuracy of the weapon could be enhanced. Another thing to notice about this system is that it is the first motion detecting software and hardware ever made. Following WWII, the relay interpolator was used for many different things.
  • First Computer Program Runs on Computer

First Computer Program Runs on Computer
The worlds first computer program is run in 1948, symbolizing a huge step in the advancement of technology, and creating an important milestone for computer development. Created by two University of Manchester students, the SSEM or Manchester Baby ran the program to test a new type of ram. Although this process, and all the processes before it will eventually die out, this advancement was a huge success to the computer world.
  • Atlas Computer Debut

    Atlas Computer Debut
In 1962, the world met the supercomputer. Built in England for Manchester University (U of M), the Atlas supercomputer was assembled and deemed the fastest computer of the time. Of course, the largest computer comes with a cost, an area cost that is, being the size of a large room, that much computing power comes at a cost.
  • Apple watch released

    Apple watch released
The most recent modification to computer technology is the Apple iWatch. Being about 30 milimeters square, the apple watch is the smallest computer of all time. Being this small has it's pros, and it's cons. The pros are that it is lightweight, durable, and rather easy to use. But the cons are that although you can browse the web, a high def youtube video isn't going to be as cinematic as if you were viewing it on an iPhone.
