Enigma

the Enigma machine was created to encode/decode messages towards the end of WW1. This means that people can now basically program their messages to have diferent meanings. The exact date is unknown so it is under as January 1st.

FORTRAN

FORTRAN is a conjunction of two words... FORmula and TRANsmission. this is a Programmed code used for transmissions.

BASIC

Beginners All-purpose Symbolic Instruction Code... was a code developed by Thomas Kurtz and John Kemeny that lets a computer recieve input and produce output in return. it was the first real Language used in computers.

DRAM

Jan 1, 1968

Dynamic Random Access Memory became the guideline for the current Computer Memory

ARPANET

the DoD created ARPANET which was basically a networking system between the different sanctions of the military. these computers were located in UCLA, Stanford, University of California, and University of Utah

"C"

The "C" language was established and was used as the primary lanuage to program and develop computer software.

TCP/IP

DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency) creates TCP/IP protocol suite which has been used as the main structuring lanuage to the World Wide Web AKA WWW.

ARPANET
