Spark Lexington and Concord
Link The British regulars were marching to Lexington and Concord to get rebel military supplies. Word of the attack got to Paul Rever in Boston. Paul Rever got on his horse and rode to Lexington to warn rebals of the attack. After that he road to Concord to warn them. Meanwhile the British arrived at Lexington but the American were no match for the British and lost. The British moved on to Concord were tons of troops had gatherd. First -Bunker Hill
Click me American troops heard that British troop were planning on moving to the hill around Boston. the American went and made a mud fort to defend themselves. When the British heard of this they mounted an attack. After 3 wave of attacking the fort fell and the Americans fled to Cambridge. 2 battles were fought 18 days apart near Saratoga New York.A british general was trying to split America. But because of the American’s armies seer number they were forced to retreat to Saratoga ,New York. Eventually he surrendered due to the how outnumber they were. When the word of this battle got out France a power at the time became major allies with the Americans. This is why this battle is considered the turning point. #gofrance -

Clich ME The Articles of Confederation were the constitution. It was the first time the America had been on there own. The articles created a very weak central government by leaving most of the power with the states themselves. Some of the problem caused were that a=anything that congress made had to be approved by 9/13 states. Congress couldn’t tax and had no enforcement of laws.
