A viking named Lief Ericson hired a crew and they sailed to a part of Canada. The crew named that spot Vinland because of all of the grape vines that grew there. The viking saw a knoll on the shore, and found nine people sleeping. Then, the vikings killed all of them but one. A big fight went out and Lief Ericson's brother got wounded and later on died. -
