On this day, after mulling over the idea for so long, I finally moved from New York to Maryland.

Naturally, the change to a new state required a change of schools. My New school was to be Glen Burnie HS, home of the Gophers.

Another important part of any teenager's life when adjusting to change is what to do on the weekends. I, instead of searchign for a fighting club or knitting crew, found a church.

For thanksgiving, i headed back to New York to spend it with my family. It made quite a difference to spend time with my brother and sister, yet knowing I was only visiting.

Of course i'd spent Christmas with my father before, yet it was different to spend it with him in the same household that i'd been living in. It really felt like it made it official, I now felt quite at home in Maryland.
