The Black Death Plague was a time where rats, fleas, ticks, ect, had imported diseases from slaves on boats to the new world and were causing people to become seriously ill and die. Also, it led to a time of devastation such as economic unequality. -
Enlightenment
The Enlightenment was an intellectual and cultural movement of the 17th and 18th centuries which stressed reason and criticism over faith and superstition. -

Beginning in 1789, the Revolution affected every aspect of France and much of Europe, often being called the start of the modern era. -
