    Joanne Kathleen Rowling wrote "Harry Potter" within 1997-2007. This was a popular book. For example, there are lots of candies and nic-nacs named after it. Specifically, the"All Flavored Kinds of Beans" J.K. Rowling was rejected many times for many books. Therefore, she came up with Harry Potter Sorcerer s Stone. From there, she made many sequels.

    On September 11th, 2001, nineteen terrorist from Taliban, Afgahnistan ambushed monuments on the east side of the USA. 9/11 is most known for the twin towers (World Trade Center), The Pentegon, and a field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. 2,374 people died, including all 19 "Taliban terrorists".

    Piano Lessons
    On May 18, 2012, I started studying how to play the piano with a lesson instructor by the name of Cody. Cody was really nice and got to the point, so i had a great time learning with him. Cody found strategies to help me find "muscle memory", which is important to piano players. Mr.Cody helped alot with fun ways to study pianos. Now I can use music as a visual example in life.

    After being started by a 9.1 underwater earthquake, the 2004 tsunami devastated southeast Asia. It became the world's deadliest tsunami, killing a whopping 225,000 people. It mostly affected the countries of Indonesia, Sri Lanka, India, Maldives, and Thailand. In some areas, the waves were more than 30 feet high! The tsunami caused terrible devastation in southeast Asia on December 26, 2004.

    People from all over the world gathered in the city of Sochi, Russia for the Winter Olympics in February, 2014. This was one of the most costliest Olympic games ever. For instance, one of the rings of the logo was not lighting up, so they had to pay for that. Vladmere Putin was in charge, seeing that he was the president of the Soviet Union. The whole cost was 51 billion dollars. I guess that Sochi set 2 records because they had over 2,800 athletes participate from 88 different nations! WOW!

    On September 26th, 2014, Weaverville UMC youth group took an adventure to Dollywood, Tennessee! So many people went with us that Rachel,Katie, and I had to ride with Katie’s mom, Sue. The whole way to Tennessee, we sang every song we knew that came on the radio. When we got to Tennessee, we Rode their newest ride, The Fire Chaser. After that, I rode my first ever loop-de-loop ride (the Wild Eagle) with Sue.When we left, everyone was exhausted and happy as we said goodbye to Dollywood.
