My birthpace
My parents immigrated to California on February 1, 1957. I was born a couple of months later in Hollywood, California -
My alma mater
I graduated from UCSB in 1979 with a BA in English! It was a wonderful school to attend and a beautiful place to live. I treasure my memories of the time I spent there. -
First Teaching Position
I began my teaching career at Roscoe Elementary School in the San Fernando Valley. It is the oldest school in the valley. I taught there 5 1/2 years before relocating to San Diego. -
San Diego
I relocated to San Diego the summer of 1987. I am so glad I made the move; I love living here. -
Joe and I marry
Joe and I married on October 17, 1992. Our wedding took place at the Immaculata Church on the USD campus. We will celebrate 20 years of marriage this October! -
Haley is born!
Our first beautiful daughter, Haley, was born on April 6, 1995 -
Meghan is born!
Our second beautiful daughter, Meghan, is born! -
Intern Program
I worked for the SDUSD District Intern Programs for 18 years. What an amazing experience! -
Our Trip to Yosemite
During the summer of 2005, our family took a road trip to Yosemite, Sacramento, and San Francisco. We all fell in love with Yosemite. It is absolutely spectacular! I don't think there is another place like it on earth. -
Our trip to Ireland
In the summer of 2007, my family traveled to Ireland. We spent 3 weeks traveling around the country visiting relatives. The girls were so excited because they got to meet "26" cousins! -
BTSA Induction
In January 2010, I returned to work with the Teacher Preparation and Induction Program and began working with the BTSA Resource Teachers on redesigning our new "For Fee" BTSA Induction Program. I love my work! -
My Senior In high school
My daughter, Haley, is a senior in high school. This is her senior photo. I can't believe she will be graduating in June! The years sure do go by fast!
