My parents immigrated to California on February 1, 1957. I was born a couple of months later in Hollywood, California

I graduated from UCSB in 1979 with a BA in English! It was a wonderful school to attend and a beautiful place to live. I treasure my memories of the time I spent there.

I began my teaching career at Roscoe Elementary School in the San Fernando Valley. It is the oldest school in the valley. I taught there 5 1/2 years before relocating to San Diego.

I relocated to San Diego the summer of 1987. I am so glad I made the move; I love living here.

Joe and I married on October 17, 1992. Our wedding took place at the Immaculata Church on the USD campus. We will celebrate 20 years of marriage this October!

Our first beautiful daughter, Haley, was born on April 6, 1995

Our second beautiful daughter, Meghan, is born!

I worked for the SDUSD District Intern Programs for 18 years. What an amazing experience!

During the summer of 2005, our family took a road trip to Yosemite, Sacramento, and San Francisco. We all fell in love with Yosemite. It is absolutely spectacular! I don't think there is another place like it on earth.

In the summer of 2007, my family traveled to Ireland. We spent 3 weeks traveling around the country visiting relatives. The girls were so excited because they got to meet "26" cousins!

In January 2010, I returned to work with the Teacher Preparation and Induction Program and began working with the BTSA Resource Teachers on redesigning our new "For Fee" BTSA Induction Program. I love my work!

My daughter, Haley, is a senior in high school. This is her senior photo. I can't believe she will be graduating in June! The years sure do go by fast!
