I attended Sheldon Coates Elementary School from Kindergarten to Grade 3. In Grade 4 I moved to Summarize Middle School.

I graduated from Grande Cache Community High School in 2012 ready to begin my adventure to become a teacher!

In 2012 I moved to Edmonton Alberta where I began upgrading to prepare to apply for my Bachelor of education the following year.

I transferred to RDC in 2013 literally through pure luck, and worked towards gaining my first 2 years towards my Bachelors. I made amazing friends and fell in love with RDC.

I fell in love with RDC it changed me and I wanted to complete my bachelors right here in Red Deer. This program changed me both personally and professionally.

I taught grade 8 LA and grade 9 social studies and LA. It was much more challenging than anticipated but I enjoyed it more than I initially anticipated.

I joined the sound connections family in 2015 and it has been the most amazing experience of my life. I get to provide one on one intervention to help students learn to read and write. I get to work with students with ADHD, OCD, ASD, Speech delays and much more.

I am currently working in my grade 4 Practicum school volunteering once a week to get hands on experience and build positive relationships with the students and staff. I am excited to begin teaching math and science in February.

I embarked on a new role entering The Shack Education Centre in October of 2016 and had been grateful for the opportunities it has provided for me. Math Shack specializes in mathematics programs that are designed to teach students from the ages four and up. The program encompasses all math curriculum focusing on the needs and learning abilities of each student.
