EDRE 2204 Introductions

  • Graduated from High School

    I graduated from McClain High School (Greenfield, Ohio).

  • Graduated with my Associate of Science Degree

    After being at Southern State Community College for a year and a half, I graduated with my Associate of Science Degree.

  • Started Serving with AmeriCorps

    I began my 11-month service year as an AmeriCorps College Completion Coach at Southern State Community College.

  • Was on the Today Show

    For Spring Break last year, my friend and I took a trip to New York City. While we were there, we decided to do what tourist do and stand outside the Today Show. It was such a great experience.

  • Traveled to California

    This past summer, I spent a week in California volunteering at a convention. This was also the first time I have ever been on a plane.

  • Started attending Shawnee State University

    After many years of wanting to go to Shawnee, I finally moved on campus in the Fall 2017 semester.

  • Starting the EDRE 2204 Course

    Within this class, I am hoping to learn how to use the knowledge of phonics as a way to better help students with learning disabilities. I would like to gain a better understanding of words in general.
